In 2004, Dr. Lieber joined The Center for Musculoskeletal Evaluations, Inc. (CME) network, as an independent physician performing IMEs and IME-related services. He will examine IME patients with musculoskeletal injuries, including neck and back injuries and will see patients with RSD, thoracic outlet syndrome, fibromyalgia, etc. (Dr Lieber will not see patients with brain or spinal cord injuries).
Pediatric Care
Michael P. Hahalyak, D.O. is a Board Certified family physician. As an osteopathic physician who performs spinal adjustments, Dr. Hahalyak has extensive experience in evaluating and treating musculoskeletal conditions. Laser Eye Surgery
Dr. Karlik treats all aspects of ophthalmic and visual pathology in his private practice. He is a high volume ophthalmic surgeon. He performs hundreds of cataract surgeries and hundreds of other ophthalmic surgeries and lasers each year. This national committee of 14 physicians determines the level of ophthalmic care an ophthalmologist must provide to warrant a bonus in Medicare reimbursement for providing exceptional care to Medicare recipients. He has provided testimony as an expert witness in court trials.

Dr. Schneider returned to Pittsburgh in 1990 to join North Park Medical and Surgical Ophthalmic Association and currently serves as President of its successor, North Park Ophthalmology. Steven E. Kann, M.D. is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in general arts and sciences. In 1990, he received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh, graduating summa cum laude (second in his class) and receiving the highest honor by being elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in his junior year of medical school. He went on to obtain his Doctorate of Medicine at Northwestern University Medical School in 1985. Following an internship in general surgery at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh, Dr. Langhans completed his orthopaedic surgical residency at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Michael R. Pagnotto, M.D A native of the Pittsburgh region, Dr. Pagnotto is a proud graduate of North Allegheny High School. He then attended Princeton University where he graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Chemical Engineering and a certificate in Engineering Biology. While at Princeton, Dr. Pagnotto was a two-year captain of the varsity Sprint Football Team, president of the Alpine Ski Team, and president of Athletes in Action Fellowship. He was named to the Academic All-Ivy League Team in sprint football. Dr. Pagnotto earned his medical degree from Columbia University in New York City and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh. He then completed his advanced fellowship training in hip and knee replacement at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. While at the Mayo Clinic, Dr. Pagnotto worked with the most advanced techniques in primary and revision hip and knee surgery including: minimally invasive surgery, alternative bearing surfaces, partial knee replacement, and multimodal pain management. He serves on the editorial board of The Journal of Arthroplasty. Dr. Pagnotto is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr. Kann has served as an Orthopaedic Consultant for the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team and as a Clinical Instructor of Orthopaedics and Foot/Ankle Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Liefeld's special interest in conditions of the spine prompted him to complete a fellowship in spine surgery at St. Luke's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. In addition to general orthopaedics, his practice spans the fields of joint replacement surgery, spine surgery, arthroscopic surgery, and treating sports-related injuries. Dr. Liefeld is the Orthopaedic Department Chair at UPMC Passavant and previously served as the Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Ohio Valley General Hospital. He also served as head team physician for Moon High School for 14 years. Dr. Liefeld is active in his community, having served as a board member for Lutheran Affiliated Services.
