Workers Compensation
Based upon the Statewide Average Weekly Wage, as determined by the Department of Labor & Industry for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2014, the maximum compensation payable under the Workers' Compensation Act, under Article 1, subsections 105.1 and 105.2, shall be $951.00 per week for injuries occurring on and after Jan. 1, 2015. for purposes of calculating the update to payments for medical treatment rendered on and after Jan. 1, 2015, the percentage increases in the Statewide Average Weekly Wage is 2 percent.

Jim Welker and Joe Pass were invited to attend a seminar held by the Benefit Fund Office of Steamfitters local 449. The seminar was a pre-retirement seminar presented to the members of Local 449. Jim Welker provided a program on the basic principles of estate planning which included a discussion about Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, Wills and Trusts.
