Once Upon A Child

I think the concept is wonderful. I have walked away with many nice items and have sold many times. However I am always shocked at the things they take and the ones they pass on. They will say an item is stained or dirty when it is perfectly fine and I have literally cleaned every crevice with q-tips. It also takes hours for them to price your things when you are selling the staff is also very rude and unfriendly. When I tell friends about the store they are always excited to go. And when we leave they have all commented on how rude the staff is. I understand that they are rare because they are not consignment and give you cash. However their entire business relies on pleasing your customers so that they will sell to you. Try a little harder ladies. The store in boardman Ohio is larger, nicer, has a larger selection, your wait time when selling item is 30 minutes and the staff is actually happy to see you !

I was very disappointed in selling my items to this store. I was greeted rather rudely upon arrival to the store. Although I called prior to bringing in my things, I was corrected for bringing my things in IKEA bags rather than laundry baskets (which any mother wouldn't have to spare) I brought in beautiful clothing barely worn by my daughter. The store took less than 10 items and gave me $8.00, which isn't bad. The problem I have is that I brought in three large baskets and most of what I brought was turned away. I understand they are overstocked on some items. items are stained, out of style, etc. I spent a great deal of my time getting the clothes prepared for them and it definitely wasn't worth it! I will be donating my things from now on.
