Venetian Nails and Spa

Went to Venetian for the first time since it is near my house. The place was packed on a Friday at noon, though it took only about 10 minutes to be called for my gel manicure (which, after reading my review, you will understand why). The man doing my nails, Henry, was very nice. However, I felt VERY rushed. While my hands were in the OPI dryer, which has an external timer, he literally was telling me to take my hands out before the timer was up. This happened several times and was bothersome because I intentionally get gel manicures so that they will last (if they are not in the dryer long enough, the end result won't be the same). No joke - my gel manicure from start to finish was about 15 minutes. I have never had such a fast manicure - and I am not saying this in a positive way. At times, this can be a good thing, particularly if YOU are in a rush; however, it didn't feel like he was just quick at doing my nails, but it definitely felt like I was being rushed so that he could get to the next person. Previous reviews I have read mention that this nail salon is very money-focused, so it was no surprise that I had a similar experience. Also, the typical massage that comes with a manicure was not even close to the massages I have received in the past at other places. He placed about a dime-size amount of lotion on my hands and rubbed it in for about a total of 15 seconds on each hand. Nonetheless, my nails look good, but we will see how they hold up. Definitely would recommend that they do not make their customers feel rushed, unwanted, and generally, that they should provide more individualized attention to paying customers.

They do my nails well, the polish stays on for about a week. They have many colors and the girls there are so sweet. Thanks a lot!
