Texas Star Propane

Texas Star Propane is rude and not customer oriented. Service man had a smart mouth and made threats that they will charge for a visit I never asked for. Owner stuck up for the serviceman and that told me his low mentality was no different. Want great service? Contact Green's Blue Flame Propane, very pleasant and they go out of their way to please the customer.

Can you give negative stars? I have used this company for 4 years. I recently went thru a divorce & my x husband left a balance of $749 in his name on the account from December when they filled us up 400 gallons. We ran out of propane in March. I called Texas Star Propane & asked if they would start a new account in my name if I prepaid for 100 gallons of propane so the girls & I had heat. They refused. So we lived without propane for 3 weeks until another company did a tank swap & I prepaid them 100 gallons. I posted a barter last week for a whole house generator for $2800 or trade for a motorcycle. Because I would not trade Texas Star Propane my generator for the balance of the bill of $749 they put a hard lien against my house in the amount of $2000. This is bad business. They were trying to take advantage of me by given me nothing for this generator & when I called Josh his words were "SHUT UP MS. GROSIAK SO I CAN TALK" NO RESPECT!!!!!!

I have never been treated so disrespectfully in my entire life one of the new owners YELLED at me at the top of his lungs over the phone...who does that..if you own a company, learn how to deal with customers..yelling isnt the way to do it thats for sure! These young people....I guess they just don't care. Times have changed. This company was a knock off of AAA Propane. The man who owned that was named Carl.he was the nicest man you would ever want to meet (think of George Bailey in it's a Wonderful Life)....even in tough times he was kind and thoughtful to his customers and cared about them. Sadly he passed away and after that his wife and sons took over...and that's when it all went downhill. No more caring about people. They sold the company to a big corp and later the sons opened up a new shop...I was hoping to see the same heart and character that the daddy had...no way....not even close....yelling at your customers? wow..nuff said.
