Melanies Gourmet Kitchen is the place to take individual culinary courses offered by Chef Scott who has 30 years of experience and teaches in a hand on setting. There is something for everyone such as team building exercises, youth cooking camps, Date Nights and special occasion cooking parties. Class topics range from basics culinary skills, healthy meals, special diet, seasonal dishes, date nights course, and exotic cooking techniques. Each student is placed at a fully-stocked individual cooking station equipped with a personal stove top, sink, garbage and electrical. Twelve stations all surround in a 22-foot island. Our chefs cooking station stands at the head of the island so all students have a clear view of our instructor throughout the entire length of the class (approximate 1 1/2 to 3 hours). Then check out our Market of many delicacies from England, Italy, South Africa, Australia, and Product the Chefs are getting. Try our Fresh Baked Cornish Pasties, Ground Beef or Chicken. Both contain Potatoes, Carrots, Onions, Turnips and Parsley. We grind our own Pork Loin to create our fabulous Sausage Rolls. Real British Scones, Custard Tarts.

Cooking Classes Course Selections Salads and Appetizers: 1. Orange and Fennel Salad: Juicy Oranges and the sharp anise flavor of fennel combine to make this Spanish salad. 2. Root Vegetable Salad: this is a perfect salad for light appetizer, the peppery flavors of daikon and radishes are refreshingly pungent. 3. Thai-style corn fritters make a great appetizing first course, served with spicy chili relish and a squeeze of lime. 4. Kachumber can be made with a fruit as well as vegetable. Served at Indian tables as an appetizer. Light Meals and Soups: 1. Melon Gazpacho on a warm sunny day this soup is light and refreshing appetizer for everyone to enjoy. 2. Avocado and Almonds Soup this rich-tasting chilled soup has an inviting color and makes a great dinner starter. 3. Panzanella this traditional Italian salad of the day old bread is ideal to serve for a lunch or simple light dinner. 4. Singapore Noodles this well-known special dish of Singapore is a delicious meal in itself packed with chicken and shrimp and vegetables. Side Dishes: 1. Potato and vegetable Curry is colorful and packed with flavor, this is a great dish for lunch or dinner. 2. Stir-fried ginger, mushrooms this vegetarian stir-fry is more like a rich curry, lots of warm spice and garlic, are balanced with coconut milk 3. Herbed quinoa with chickpeas and spinach this is a Gluten Free side dish or dinner if you add your favorite protein. 4. Basmati Rice Couscous this also is gluten free.
