The Pool Depot

Pompton Pool Depot completed my inground pool installation last year. John and his crew were fantastic!! From the onset, John made us feel comfortable and helped us make the right decisions based on our needs and our budget. The installation project was a huge job, but John set our expectations up front so we would know exactly what to expect and there were no suprises. No upselling, No trying to talk us into things we didnt need...John was great and we could not be more pleased with our pool, experience and the overall quality of the Pompton Pool Depot Installation and Team. The PPD is all about Customer Services. Being a new pool owner I have had MANY questions and the team is always there to walk me through caring for my pool! We do not live close to the PPD Store but we go many miles out of our way (past other Pool Stores) just to see John and the PPD Family. Everyone at the store is friendly, professional and truly care about their clients. I love the fact that we have a pool company we can trust!!! Thank you John and the entire PPD Team!!

I've gotten all of my pool supplies at the Pool Depot for year however after what happened on 6/15/12 when I tried to return a pool fountain that I had purchased has left me with no other alternative but to bring my business elsewhere. On 6/14/12, I purchased a pool fountain and asked the young lady behind the desk if I could return it if I didn't like it, she told me yes...after opening the box and looking at the pieces and reading the instructions...I realized that I was unable to install it to my system... I went back on 6/15/12 to return the item and the owner told me that he was unable to refund my money because the box was opened...I told him that the young lady had told me that I could...he then wanted to sell me something else that would make it work on my system but because of his initial attitude I told him to just give me back my receipt and that he wasn't the only pool store in the area...he then said that he would give me a refund just so he would have to look at my face again...terrible customer service from the owner himself...the Pool Depot must be making so much money that they can afford to be rude to long time customers...they have just lost my business over a stupid $39 item that I returned in excellent condition UN-used.
