Park Vista Retirement and Assisted Living Community

My folks have been there a few months and aren't happy. Apartment is fine, but staff and food service are problematic. Mom has diabetes and dad has heart problem. I asked about nutritional information kitchen staff told me they don't have anything like that. I've eaten with them a couple times and meals were fair to lousy and certainly not heart healthy. Not enough help in dining room, service really slow, staff make a lot of excuses. They say lunched is served until from noon to 2pm but we tried eating at 1pm to avoid crowd...I see why people hurry to get there early...by 1pm out of some items, tables covered with dirty dishes, out of clean dishes, food cold. Should be better for the price they are paying. They don't want the stress of moving, but may have to.
