General Info: Binnsmead Middle School offers educational programs to students in grades six through eight. The school organizes a variety of athletic activities that include football, soccer, volleyball, cross country, track and field, tennis, basketball and wrestling. Binnsmead Middle School provides academic instruction in language arts, math, science, social studies, industrial technology, art, music, world languages, reading and computer technology. The school has a team of guidance counselors who address the academic, personal, social and career development needs of students. Binnsmead Middle School is a part of Leon County Schools. The school offers special programs for gifted and talented students. In addition, Binnsmead Middle School offers special education and the English as a Second Language program. The school offers various extended day activities, including student council, chess club, mask making, dance, drama and music. Binnsmead Middle School is located in Portland, Ore.
