Called this person a few days ...

Called this person a few days before Thanksgiving 2013 for a cracked heat exchanger. Was assured they could handle the job, "no problem" is what the owner's son said!!! The exchanger was under warranty, so all the guy needed to do was contact the manufacturer of the exchanger and request the part, give the warranty info., give the model and serial numbers and the company would ship the new exchanger. After 1 1/2 weeks of the run-around from owner's son......I was told that there were NO distributors able to be found that would deal with the brand of furnace we had. That it would probably be easier for us to look online for a distributor and he would do the same.....on his personal time is what he said (please don't do me any favors). After wising up, I checked online with the furnace manufacturer, and found that not only were there three distribution centers within a 45 mile radius of my home, but that the part was even in stock at the Fall River distribution center!!!! It literally took me 6 minutes to get this information. We called and left a message for this company and kindly told them thanks but no thanks for your poor help!!!! If he didn't want the job, couldn't do the job, or was too booked, we could have heard these reasons for not treating us professionally. We found a local company that came out two days later with the new part and installed it in 4 hours. They we appalled at the treatment that we received from Preston P&H!!! NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!
