General Info: Dr. Kelly Pomerenke wasraised on a family farm near George, Iowa and graduated from high school in George in 1980.Dr. Pomerenke has more than 26 years of experience in family medicine. He currently practices three days weekly at the Akron Mercy Medical Clinic and does some emergency room work as well. Dr. Pomerenke's special interests include geriatric and preventative medicine. He is a graduate of the University of South Dakota Medical School and completed his residency at the University of Iowa. Currently,Dr. Pomerenke is the Medical Director at the Akron Care Center in Akron, Iowa.Dr. Pomerenke and his wife Teresa currently reside in Sioux Center and have two adult sons. He has been a huge fan ofthe Michigan Wolverines and the Los Angeles Rams since the age of 5.
