I think they do a great job and always willing to help when I need them. Prices are reasonable compared to other computer repair out there around here and other states where we lived.

Overall

My husband and I in the last week have taken our two computers in to A to Z Computers. We were told that they would put the virus protector back on our computers and they did not. So my husband took his computer back to them since we had just spent a lot of money having them cleaned and fixed. The young man was RUDE, and just plain LAZY told my husband to do it himself. I guess A to Z have so many clients they don't mind loosing a few. They have lost us and everyone that I know. One thing you need to know seniors don't know how to do many of these things you do everyday and think nothing of. We on the other hand bring our computers to you so that we can have these things done well and by someone that treats us with respect. Sincerely Cathi Shearer

Family owned, family operated ...

Family owned, family operated business. Mark Zehr has a long-standing history of professionalism and expertise with work with computers in Port Charlotte and the Charlotte County area going back to 1996 or perhaps earlier. He worked on my old HP and Compaq desktops running Windows 98 with a 10Gb IDE Hard drive as a frame of reference; those PCs might have had all of 128Mb of RAM if that - relics or dinosaurs compared to today's standards. Hardware platforms for Intel / AMD and software have changed drastically through the years, but Mark has always been a mainstay of consistency - the always reliable constant. I've had a lot of computers go in and out of his shop out on Sandhill as I ventured from the Intel Celeron / Pentium Single core to the AMD Athlon 64 X2 (AM2) Dual core to the AMD Phenom X4 (AM2+) -- AMD Phenom II X4 (AM2+/AM3) Quad core based desktops with DDR --/-- DDR2 on to DDR3 memory, Windows 98 SE, then Windows XP/ Vista and Windows 7 OEM (32 and 64 Bit) operating systems, most of which I messed up or ruined myself - hardware or software or both, which his technicians fixed without fail. Never any problems with service. Done once. Done right. Technicians are skilled and knowledgeable with the latest hardware and software and Julia's a gem of a person out front. Very thankful that the technicians, Andrew and Justin (at the time), showed me how to fix a CPU's pins on AMD processors. A+ to Z backs their work and Mark backs everything that he sells in retail sales. Good people.
