A Bridal World

I could not have asked for a better dress shopping experience than the one that I had at A Bridal World. I planned to get my dress from David’s Bridal, but figured I would go to a few smaller salons just to see what was out there. A Bridal World was the first salon I went to and they blew me away. Everything was so civilized and elegant. I was the only bride in the salon and I walked around pointing at every dress that I wanted to try one while my bridal attendant put them in my dressing room. I ended up trying on 12 dresses and picked the first one I tried on. Additionally, the seamstresses are EXCEPTIONAL. My dress fit like a glove before we even made alterations (due to a lot of experience), but the seamstress turned my dress from beautiful into PERFECTION. I didn't love the sweetheart neckline so they actually changed it for me. I also added a monogram (as my something blue) in the underside of the dress. Overall, an amazing experience and I will definitely recommend.

I am extremely disappointed in my overall experience at A Bridal World. I called a few days ago to schedule an appointment to look for bridesmaid dresses. On arrival today(11/14/13), it was difficult locating the shop as there was not a proper sign – there is a paper sign in the window. I told the woman at the desk that I had an appointment and she acted shocked. She threw a clipboard at me to fill out my information when she attended to another bride. Once she got back, I told her what I was looking for in a bridesmaid dress. At this moment, the rude woman told me that there would be a fee to try dresses on. I have never heard on such a thing and was completely repulsed by the idea of having to pay to try a dress on. Needless to say I walked out of the shop right away and will never return. Obviously places like this need to charge a fee because they know they are not going to make money anywhere else. I’m sorry that I wasted my time and will be calling tomorrow to ask why when I called to schedule an appointment that I wasn’t told there was a fee. I would not recommend this place.
