My roommates and I rented an apartment here for a year and it was one of the worst experiences we have had with a business. Putting aside the disappointment of the actual apartment, the leasing representatives should be considered nothing more than underhanded used car salesmen. It was their ability to weasel their way out of any situation and squeeze every bit of money they can out of you that made me feel like I needed to write this review.
The office staff appears to be helpful and flexible when renting you the apartment but after that you will never be able to get them to do anything. Whether it s returning an email or fix something in your unit they avoid their tenants like the plague. There were problems in the apartment from the first week that were still not fixed when we moved out a year later. In fact, I don t think you can call yourself a gated apartment complex when both of the gates have not worked a single night in the last year (causing an alarm to go off almost every night). The biggest problem was at the end of the year when we moved out. The office tried everything they could to scam us out of as much money as they could. They ended up forcing us to rent the apartment for an additional month because they conveniently lost our notice to move out and claimed to have never received the documentation. Then they would not let us stay in the apartment for that additional month. So we are currently paying them rent and yet aren t allowed to use the apartment.
The apartment itself seems as if it was built by guys on stilts. Good luck trying to hang things on crooked walls and doorways. The dryer that come with the apartment literally burn clothing so prepare yourself to buy a new dryer because the office will not do anything about it. The walls are extremely thin so where you can hear normal conversations from the next apartment. The grills at the pool would be nice if there was ever actually any propane in them. Bugs were not as bad as some cheaper apartments but the other apartments that I lived at were college apartments so I may be used to them.
The bottom line is that there is a catch to everything with these apartments and the agents will swindle you out of whatever money they can.

I cannot even express in words how upset I am with the unprofessionalism of the current property manager.
My lease ended and I moved out from the property in March 2011.
A new tenant had then moved in.
I recieved a bill in the mail around August for myself AND the new tentant for "our" damages" and "ending the lease early.
I went to the office to resolve the issue several times, and called the property manager FOR MONTHS to get this straightened out.
All he could say was that the paperwork had been filed incorrectly and that my name was not removed from the lease.
He assured me he would take care of it.
Well here it is 1/18/2012 and I just got a collection letter for $1200 from Clairmont at Farmgate for an apartment I was not even living in, with a tenant I do not even know.
Thank you for ruining my credit.
Guess the paperwork was filed incorrectly again, eh'
