Muhlenberg Elementary Center provides learning opportunities to more than 1,300 students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as language arts, math, social studies, science, art, health and physical education, music and computers. The school provides a special education program for students with autism; hearing, language, visual, neurological and other health impairments; significant developmental delays; and mental, physical, emotional and specific learning disabilities. It also conducts Title I evening workshops that include several student-related activities. The school s media center has a collection of over 13,000 books, magazines and audiovisual materials. It is a part of the Muhlenberg School District and is located in Laureldale, Pa.
