Whitcraft Transmission

I can't say enough how Greg and the rest of the people here are remarkable!!! They DO GO THE EXTRA MILE for their customers.
I have been here more than once with my companies fleet of vehicles. Two different occasions had one of my cars, kept it overnight and tested and checked everything possible on the faulty acting transmissions. Both times it was found not to have a problem.
They took their time to go over everything, free of charge. What more can I say, they were awesome!!!!
I then tried to buy everyone their lunch, you know a couple of pizzas...
They wouldn't even accept me buying them lunch.

If you're looking for an HONEST transmission shop , reasonable prices and SERVICE beyond the norm, then you've got to consider WHITCRAFT. They came highly recommended, and lived up to every accolade. I purchased a used tranny and they were the cheapest in town to install it. Their work was fast. I am going back to them to have another put in.

BUT there is a reason for that:

Their work is suspect , I have had them rebuild my transmission twice now , and both times the transmission lasted less than 24,000 miles , a good transmission rebuild should last atleast 1/2 the life of a new one , so figure around 55,000 miles , they give you 1 year and 12,000 miles , you are lucky to get 2 years and 24,000 miles before you are back in again , getting it rebuilt again and at $1600 a clip , no wonder why they do so well and have been in business for so long , just like drug dealers , they keep you on the come back.

The next time I get my transmission rebuild , it will be with a BBB acredited business and an ATRA acredited shop , these guys use the cheapest gear and bearing sets available and send you down the road , its like a shot in the dark , it might be good , it be bad , in my case , both times , its been a negitive rebuild.

These guys came really highly recommended, and as soon as I called them I found out why. The customer service I got from these guys was incredible - friendly, straightforward and trustworthy. Not only that, but fast! They fit in an estimate on my car and called me two hours before they said they would. How awesome is that?!
