General Info: Since 1935, Maola Milk & Ice Cream Company has made premium milk and ice cream. The company produces approximately 100,000 gallons of milk daily and sells nearly 1.5 million gallons of ice cream a year. As one of the most advanced dairies in the United States, the company maintains stringent product quality control, processing cost and distribution efficiency. Maola is a subsidiary of Maryland & Virginia Milk Producers Cooperative Association, a regional milk marketing and processing cooperative that serves more than 1,500 dairy farm families in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama. Distributed throughout North Carolina in addition to parts of South Carolina and Virginia, Maola Milk & Ice Cream Company maintains its headquarters in New Bern, N.C.
