We loved Passenger Nautical! I chartered a boat with them as an occasion to propose to my girlfriend. They were remarkably helpful in setting up the proposal and were both flexible and easy to work with in arranging the charter.

Our captain, Barry, was an excellent guide around the bay and a good instructor for those without much sailing experience. He took us out on a 35 foot sailboat and the vessel was beautiful and comfortable. The state room that I hid out on prior to the proposal was very comfortable. The boat also had a great media system that syncs easily with a smartphone for easy music.

All in all, a great experience and highly recommended! It was great getting to know Barry and we look forward to taking a boat out with him again!

I used Passage Nautical to charter a sailboat to propose to my girlfriend (now fiancee). They were wonderful throughout the whole process, going above and beyond to make sure everything went great. They even upgraded our charter from a 22-foot sailboat to a 35-foot sailboat! The charter was great: the boat was in beautiful condition and the boat was sailed with great skill on a very windy day on the bay. Couldn't ask for a better charter!

We ha a great experience buying our boat from Passage Yachts. Our salesperson was great. He really worked with us to figure out the best boat for our use and budget and made it happen. They handles everything including getting us a great loan. The service department helped us install some new equipment at a big savings - both time and money.

We are going back when it's time for our next boat!

Had a great lesson with Barry out of Jack London the other day. The ASA / Beneteau First 22 is definitely the perfect boat to learn how to sail on. I look forward to more lessons and more time on the water with the Passage team who are all super fun and knowledgeable enthusiasts of all things nautical : )

This is the place to go to charter a high-end yacht at a fair price! The Brickyard Marina is an excellent location for sailing - no need to waste time powering up a long channel - leave the harbor and in 5 minutes you are in the bay sailing. Angel Island and Tiburon are a quick sail away and heading over to a Giants game is a breeze. The harbor itself is located in the beautiful "Richmond Riviera" which has great weather, plenty of free parking and is safe. I like it especially because it is less than 10 minutes from Marin (except during rush hour on the San Rafael Bridge!)
The Beneteau line of sailboats they charter are beautiful and are great boats for sailing on the bay.
I compared their charter rates to other companies around the SF Bay and, when you factor in the USCG certified skipper that is included, the quality of the boats, and the prime location for sailing, they are one of the best values on the Bay.

This place is a one stop shop! They can set you up with skippered charters, boat lessons, and of course help you find the perfect boat. Very friendly staff and great prices! Worth stopping by. Passage nautical carries Beneteau power and sail boats, as well as Lagoon Catamarans. Thanks to their charter program they have a nice selection of boats to see in person and can also special order. I wish I had known about them sooner!
