Steamers Restaurant & Raw Bar

Terrible! Uncleaned shrimp... I think they actually took their steamed shrimp, breaded them, and refried them!

While on business in Richmond Hill I stopped in for dinner. I ordered the Jambalaya. It was not good. It tasted like a frozen microwave dinner. The thing that gets me is the waitress Blake could see I had barely touched the meal and did not even bother to ask "was everything OK?" I paid for the meal and as I was leaving I spoke to the lady manager at the door. I said that meal was not good. I said it tasted like a frozen microwave dinner. She asked if I told my waitress, and I said no. She said we do not use microwave ovens and everything is made fresh every day. I still insisted it was sub-standard, and it was not a $16.00 meal. She stood her ground as she was convinced I was just some sort of trouble maker. I was not to concerned about a refund, and if she had offered something else to eat I would have declined, as I did not want to waste any more time in that establishment. It was a VERY RUDE and tasteless dinning experience.

We had the Union Branch Christmas party 4944 there Sat. nite and we all enjoyed everything and had a great time. This was the first time some had been there so I think they will be returning. Thanks
