- General Info
- Valerie Paul became interested in dogs when she was a young girl. She grew up with several dogs, mostly strays, and learned how dogs interact in many different situations. She recently attended North State Canine Academy in Sanford, North Carolina where she received her Master Trainer Certification. While in Sanford she worked with many different dogs with a variety of issues. Her favorite dogs are those up to new and exciting challenges and she looks forward to meeting those new dogs every day.

I picked my dog and the receptionist said he had a little scratch in his nose. When we received the dog the scratch was not little and it looked terrible. Our dog never had problems in the other places. He is neuter and very calm. After pick him up I had to shower him cause he smelled terrible like pee, the nose scratch looks pretty bad and it has other minor scratch in his under body. The receptionist didnt have any idea how it happened. Then the dog was acting very scared at home and shaking.

Valerie Paul is a very talented trainer who took our 6 year old Lab rescue from an under socialized untrained, excitable dog to a very competent and well loved Therapy Dog. She always thinks outside the box and went over and above to help our dog pass his test. I have seen many other success stories as well. This lady is one of the best!

I highly recommend Valerie from Impawsbile Pups for dog training. We did the Train While You Work program, which not only brought out excellent results with our 5 month old yellow lab, but it was also very convenient for my husband and I. Our puppy learned so quickly with Valerie and was always so excited to see her everyday. One thing I'm most impressed with is how good our dog is on walks now; it's very easy and enjoyable to take him on walks or runs - he keeps his attention on us now, rather than anything passing by that could be distracting. We are expecting our first baby in March, so it is very much appreciated that our dog now listens and obeys us. It was very important to me that our dog was well-behaved and listened to BOTH my husband and I. Valerie met with us each week to explain the training to us, which was very helpful and important. Both us and our puppy learned a lot from Valerie, and are very happy with the results.

Valerie is a wonderful trainer and is very patient, with both the dog and the adults! She really knows her stuff. We would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a trainer. Our lab mix is 2.5 years old and she learned quickly and has been such a pleasure since she started listening and obeying the basic commands. It is now a joy to walk her, not a chore. For Valerie, dogs are her passion, not just a job. She was truly exceptional, well worth every penny. We are happy to recommend her and thank her for her commitment to our family in finding the peace we desparately needed.

Impawsible Pups training is great. My Boston Terrier and I had fun practicing Valerie's easy-to-follow, progressive basic obedience course skills. The in-home training is very effective and we both learned a lot about our roles - both as an owner and a pet! The basic course added some structure to our day-to-day activities and has made it possible for me to take my dog more places with me. Well worth the investment of time and money for the value!

I have never written a review before, but I just had to write one about Valerie Paul, the owner of Impawsible Pups. I am the owner of two dogs and the first time that Valerie came to my house for a consultation, I was impressed by her body language around my dogs. She exhibits confidence and a calm demeanor and the dogs began paying attention to her immediately. Whatever she wanted them to do, they did. And more importantly, she was able to communicate to me how to handle myself so that my dogs would do the same things for me that they did for her. It was amazing! It is easy to see that she just loves her work and truly loves and understands dogs! I like the fact that she has a guarantee on her work so that one feels secure that they will never be left hanging. I also like the fact that Valerie teaches in six weeks what would take over twenty weeks to learn from generic group classes. This makes her fee comparable to the "cheaper" fees that one can find in the group classes. I HIGHLY recommend that anyone who wants to have their dog trained, and truly have fun while doing so, give Impawsible Pups a call. The initial consultation is free, so there is no risk.
