VCA Catoosa Animal Hospital

Although I have a vet near my home that I've trusted for years, I took my two French Bulldogs to VCA yesterday and met Dr. Nepp for the first time.. I was most impressed by his professionalism, thoroughness and communication. I would not hesitate to highly recommend him.. .

Great place people say they r expensive but they cost just as much as anyone else. I have compared pricing plus their grooming department is exsullent. My dog is picky but she live them.

I've been taking my three small dogs to these folks for over five years and have received nothing but excellent service from the entire staff. The prices do seem a big high and I suspect that's due to the affiliation with VCA but, coming from the Atlanta area, I wouldn't say they are unreasonable. The doctors seem very knowledgeable (and I have three vets in my family, just not in this area) and the staff is so friendly and cheerful. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for excellent veterinary care in the Ringgold and Catoosa County area. Their groomers have always made my babies look beautiful too!

Since VCA has taken over, the prices have become very unreasonable. They seem to try to want to take you for ever dollar you have! The vets have always been reasonable but any animal hospital that has been taken over by VCA, including one in San Diego that I had gone to for many years, has become nothing but a business with little left for their customers. The vet misdiagnosed a simple skin issue that another local vet diagnosed immediately. I was charged multiple times at VCA for their attempts to resolve the skin issue only to have it solved at another vets office for much less money. Would no longer advise anyone to ever use a vet taken over by VCA.

This place and their staff are horrible. I had major surgery and wasn't mobile (couldn't walk or drive), called to see if they would come out to look at my large dog b/c I had no way to transport her to the office. They were her local vet...she was dying and there was nothing I could do. They refused to help me. Couldn't tell me anyone who would help me.... no compassion for my dog or our situation.

This place is OUTRAGEOUS and deserves negative stars! I called to check prices on a common x-ray and they quoted me $148. Most local vets charge between $50 - $70 for the same exact service. The prices are crazy high! Most procedures are done behind closed doors where the pet owner cannot see what is being done. How can you be certain that the dog was vaccinated or treated in any way? Not one single staff member smiled the entire time I was there. The second time I had to leave my dog and asked for a call when the procedure was complete, but no one ever called.. It is a very strange and cold place with prices that are outrageous. Find another vet's office. There are several in Ringgold, Fort Oglethorpe, Lafayette and even drive to Chattanooga before you spend a fortune at this place for the exact same service you can get with a smile for 1/3 the price.
