Johnson's Sausage Shoppe

I just kindly called this place and asked if their meat was locally sourced. The woman that answered the phone impulsively lashed out at me and went on an endless tirade and told me off. She was full of rage and yelling so fast and so loud that I couldn't make out everything she was saying but it was vicious and insulting. There was absolutely nothing in my question that should have triggered such and insane tirade. She literally scared the heck out of me. I wasn't expecting that and she totally caught me off guard. Beware. She is literally crazy.

Love Johnson's Sausage Shoppe! The staff, including Chris, has always been friendly, helpful, and quick to answer any questions or give suggestions. The selection is fantastic as well! I took a deer in to get processed opening weekend of gun season and yes, I had to wait about 4-6 weeks to get all the processed meat back (which is to be expected), but it was definitely worth the wait! I am definitely an often repeat customer!

My husband took 2 deer in to Johnson's - one in bow season (Oct 2013) and one in gun season (Nov 2013). He called 12 times throughout the year, talked to the owner Chris 3 times, with NO call backs and we still have no deer or money back that he paid in FULL. He went there tonight and the owner told him "Sit the F*** down" and when he told her no she said "Shut the F*** up". He told her he is going to report it to the BBB and she said "Do whatever the F*** you want". Stunned that a business would EVER talk to a customer that way when they have been in the wrong for a whole year and have never reached out to make it right! WORST customer service ever. Very unprofessional business. We will never go back here ever again.
