Rockland Talbot House is dog friendly and offers the perfect balance between staying at a Maine vacation rental and a luxury bed and breakfast inn with the privacy and autonomy of a vacation home and the perks of a B&B - daily housekeeping, breakfast and a local owner available to help guide your vacation plans. Who needs a full kitchen to cook when you have over 20 restaurants in walking distance of the inn and a 24-hour guest pantry area with a stocked refrigerator, microwave, tea and coffee center and homemade pie! This grand home was a subject of an Edward Hopper painting in 1926 and has just been lovingly restored by the new owners. Our guestrooms are designed to meet travelers' needs with modern amenities, including complimentary Wi-Fi internet, private en-suite baths, in room controlled air conditioning/heat, fireplaces (in season), lots of outlets and free off-street parking. The inn is located in a quiet, historic residential neighborhood walking distance to the harbor, Farnsworth Art Museum, Maine Lighthouse Museum, unique shops, brew pubs, galleries, restaurants and less than 2 miles from Primo Restaurant. Location

We are located in the heart of downtown Rockland, Maine, walking distance from the harbor and the shops on Main Street if you like to walk. We have beautiful gardens and outdoor sitting area including a cozy rocker on our front porch. Next door to the famous Berry Manor Inn which welcomes guests from all over the country to their beautiful Victorian home built in the 1800's as a wedding present to the owners wife.
