Service abounds and the golf course is superbly maintained, reflecting the meticulous attention to detail. Professional golf legend Johnny Miller and Santa Rosa golf course architect Fred Bliss designed the challenging 6,800-yard course located in Rocklin, California. Water or wetlands come into play on virtually every hole. However, with the presence of wetlands come many pleasant surprises. These natural environments are home to a multitude of animals. Migratory birds, such as mallards & geese are most common. However, raccoons, beavers, wild turkeys, coyotes & deer can also be found wandering the grounds. The ability to witness an abundance of wildlife is just one reason to play Whitney Oaks. The golf course itself is what makes Whitney Oaks a truly unique & enjoyable experience. Named after an historic pyramid shaped granite monument situated 100 yards west of the eleventh green, the Pyramid Bar & Grill is a perfect place to relax and reflect on the day?s round. The clubhouse is elegant and yet comfortable and offers a level of service & quality seldom found anywhere else. The menus offer a wide variety of popular items, made fresh daily from the finest ingredients and are sure t o please even the most discriminating diner. From any seat in the house you will be able to view the majesty of the finishing holes and the surrounding hillsides.
