Scott Pet Inc. was established by T.E. Scott in 1975. When the company first started out, its main offering was sporting dog collars. The company product line has grown to include nylon and leather collars and leads; natural treats; kennels; crates; and wild and pet bird products. The inspiration for the company came from T.E. Scott's involvement in field trialing and raising hunting dogs. The company has a location in Rockville, Ind. The company's nylon and leather products and wild and pet birdseed are manufactured at the Indiana location.
