B Tailor Shop

Growing up in Silver Spring in the 50's, I was taught the value of loyalty; a benefit to both customer and store/shop owner. Those nurtured relationships as a local consumer shopping at area small businesses have rarely disappointed me. Such is the small local single addressed business of B. Tailor Shop located in central Rockville. The Mr. and Mrs. who own the B. Tailor Shop always greet me with a smile and a 'hello'. Whether it's altering shirt sleeves, hemming up slacks, taking in a jacket or shirt, or any of the continuing needs I always return for, the work is completed on time and done RIGHT! How did I find the B. Tailor shop.....from another of my fine shops, Edna's Cleaners, just up the street recommended them. They said they were the only tailor/alteration shop they would recommend. That was about 4 years ago. I haven't any complaints about Mr. and Mrs. at B. Tailor shop.

Never go to this Tailor Shop, don't waste your time or money. If could have rated 0 stars I would have. First, very expensive. Second, hard to understand, Third, not professional. I went to this Tailor shop to get some alterations to a dress. The hem is still too long, and they treated me disrespectful because I didn't want them to alter a certain part of a dress because it was just too expensive. They said I will give you $7 discount. Seriously a whole $7. It took me over 5 minutes to explain to the man and the woman there that I didn't want certain things altered. It was such a pain!!! Basically when I went to pick up the dress, they were pushing me out the door, they didn't want to treat me like a customer, here just take your dress and leave.
