Overall

I usually dine in and have a decent experience. After all it's easy to fix things when you are still on the premises. But have mercy on you if you order at the drive thru.



I have only done this 3 times, but each time I have arrived home with items missing from my order OR fewer tenders than I paid for. How does this happen? How do you order and pay for 20 tenders and get only 19? I asked this to the lady on the phone, and she said they were busy and probably just threw some in and figured it was enough. Great example of sloppy, shoddy customer service. Are they banking on us not counting them? Today I get home with plenty of tenders and no gravy. Tenders, gravy and biscuits. It's just 3 things to get in the sack. We actually counted the tenders before driving off, but failed to verify the gravy. I'm a fool.



This store obviously lacks good leadership/management. There should be a better system for filling drive thru orders. My last dine in experience saw one employee complaining to me about another employee filling up the Unsweetened Tea reservoir with Sweet Tea. Brilliant.



It is impossible to get feedback to anyone other than the individual store via a phone call, so there is no leverage or incentive to fix things. Management simply does not care or is too inept to remedy the inadequacies! Chicken Express corporate is in hiding. They have precious little published contact info and no feedback channels. This leaves you with crudely-run franchises dragging the Chicken E brand through the mud.
