Family Medical Walk-In Clinic

I have been here twice and both times I felt rushed and had questions left unanswered. Yesterday I came in for a potential UTI, and was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. They never asked me if I had eaten recently, and if they had It would have explained the high sugar in my urine. After a tearful evening waiting for my midwife to call me back, she assured me that it was probably what I ate and that I most likely was okay. I went in because a UTI while pregnant can be dangerous and felt like I was wasting this doctors time.

The last time I went in, I thought I had a sinus infection and was given a very large dosage of antibiotics. This led to my very first yeast infection (not a pleasant first at all!)

On top of all of this, the office visit fee is astronomical. Next time I'll take my chances with a visit to the Mercy clinic, where I don't have to worry about competence or attitude. After all, my money's just as good as anyone else's, right?
