Stor-Mart Storage Super Center

I have been renting from this storage place since 2012, never missing a payment. Im paid up through 12/31/15. StorMart has changed ownership twice in the past three years. I live in Florida. Sent my agent (son) to get some of my things from the locker. They wouldn't let him in or tell me my password for the gate. Management is off site and the customer service number is merely an answering service. The onsite man refused to involve management, customer service refused to involve management. I was told that even though I was renting a unit, StorMart was private property and access by my agent regardless of his credentials can and would be denied. Finally able to find my password among my papers at home and my son removed some of my items. He went back two days later to find that my unit had been cleared out and swept clean completely and my things taken without my knowledge or consent. Again, I was paid up through the end of the year. I feel this is unethical if not criminal.



This case will be reviewed by a complaint specialist at the Better Business Bureau, and then forwarded to the business for their response.
