Lawn Fertilization
We know that the needs of your lawn and its ability to take up nutrients changes throughout the growing season. With this in mind, we select and apply fertilizer products that are most appropriate based on your turf type, growing conditions, and time of year, to ensure your lawn looks its best. Decades of turf research has proven granular fertilizers to be superior to liquid fertilizers in turf fertility programs. They provide the necessary nutrient levels needed to sustain a thick, healthy lawn. You can be assured that we only use granular fertilizers in our lawn care programs.

Lawn Aeration
If you are concerned about excess thatch, we recommend aeration rather than power raking. Aeration reduces compaction and improves root development. Power raking will remove thatch but it also removes many good grass plants too and doesn’t help with compaction. We offer liquid aeration in the fall. Core aeration is also available, only as part of our overseeding process.

Weed Control
Liquid applications of broadleaf weed control are generally done once in May and again in September. These broadcast applications are the most effective way to deal with dandelions, clover, and a host of other broadleaf weeds. We will also spot treat weeds as needed while doing fertilizer applications.
