Roma Mia Ristorante Italiano

I recently moved to Georgia and have only been to Roma Mia twice for take-out. It's not the best Italian food I've ever had, but in its price range it's one of the better places I've been to. Definitely better than the other place in this area with a similar name. You can tell they actually make their own food instead of using canned Ragu and pre-made frozen food. I recommend eating here the next time you're craving some good Italian food at a relatively cheap price.

The FOOD is... amazing. The SERVICE is... bad.



We have been twice now. We went back again because we figured the first time was a fluke. Both times the service was so bad we had to laugh.



For example, on our second visit, after placing our order the waitress read the order back to us. She had my wife's order wrong and I pointed out the mistake. My wife POINTED to the item in the menu for the waitress as she was having trouble with English. Our order comes out, and you guessed it, she still got it wrong. She was very apologetic. It took 40 minutes for the replacement dish to make it to the table... We just asked for a box because the other three of us were done. Discount? Nope.



Then there is my pet peeve... Empty glasses waiting to be refilled for 10 minutes. This happened on both visits. At one point I took the glasses to the counter.



But the food is SOO good. UGH! We might try it again... If they can fix the service, they will do well!
