Great facility. Helpful staff. Takes great care of the animals and does an awesome job of getting them placed into homes. Great community service. Has great volunteers too

Our family has fostered cats and kittens for them for years. They take care of everything and are always appreciative. I can't believe how many cats and dogs they adopt out every week and they're a no-kill shelter.

We adopted two great adult cats from the Placer SPCA. They have wonderful volunteers who take time to love on the pets while they're waiting for their forever home.

Placer SPCA is a wonderful organization. They have a full time vet on staff to make sure all animals are cared for properly. They also do a good job of educating and matching potential pet owners with a pet that fits their needs/desires.

Walk and Talk

Nicely kept animal shelter. When you take a dog for a walk be sure to "walk and talk" the dog. It will keep his business split between you and whatever roadside matters he is seeking out. Additionally, the dog will appreciate the attention you give him/her.
