Roseville Church of Christ

I attended this church about a month ago trying to find a new home church. At first I thought it was nice from the surface but then after attending an evening service the second week attending there I realized this church does not practice what it preaches. People seemed to stare at me like I wasn't welcome and during communion the pastors didn't seem to even want me to participate. During evening service, I walk inside the building and right off the bat I hear people gossiping about my long hair and that it's time I get a haircut because I'm a guy with long hair. Then during service, I brought a notebook to take notes on the sermon and the entire time the pastor is preaching I'm hearing people judging me from behind to the point that I could barely concentrate on the sermon. The service ended with them taking communion after making me feel so horrible. A couple of days later I texted the pastor explaining my experience and that I won't be returning because I felt very unwelcome and the pastors responded so harshly saying that I was judging them and that it's their turn to judge me. Disdainfully, they replied that I should go find a different church. I was so hurt and astonished by their hypocracy. I will never step foot in that building again. =(

This is my family's Church. We love it there. The people who attend are very friendly and welcoming.
