Dental Examination
Each plan includes a comprehensive exam, x-rays and hygiene visits. Members also receive discounts for additional services, including Invisalign® and In-Office Whitening.
X-rays
Regular visits for exams and dental cleanings are the most cost-effective measure you can take when it comes to your dental health. At these visits, we will check your teeth for any signs of decay or wear, and examine the gums and soft tissue to look for any concerns with bleeding gums, infection or unusual bumps or sores. We may recommend digital dental x-rays to look between the teeth and under the gums to monitor your child's dental development or look for any indications of oral bone loss in adults.

Teeth Cleaning
We will always recommend what is best for you. Adult patients or children with complex or developmental needs may require the services of a dental orthodontic specialist, an orthodontist. If Dr. Bhat determines this is the best course of action for you, we will refer you to an orthodontist and work with them to maintain your preventive dental cleanings while you complete orthodontic treatment.

Resin Composite
After Dr. Bhat shapes the area for the restoration, the pliable composite resin dental filling material is applied and shaped to fit the tooth and bite. A special curing light hardens the material, and the restoration is smoothed and polished as a finishing touch.
Veneers
Porcelain dental veneers are thin facings that are often used on front teeth to create a symmetrical and pleasing smile shape, color and style. They can be placed without removing a lot of tooth structure, which makes them very appealing for cosmetic dental makeovers.
Crowns
Cerec ® employs 3D digital imaging tools, so no more messy dental impressions! One-visit crowns also mean no annoying temporaries, because there is no waiting. You leave our office with a beautiful ceramic crown that matches your natural teeth.
Bridges
Replacement options for one or more missing teeth include dental implants and dental bridges. Dental implants are artificial tooth ‘roots’ that are placed by a dental specialist and restored by Dr. Bhat with a custom dental crown, bridge, or, may be used to secure a denture. A dental bridge is a fixed prosthetic that is attached to multiple existing teeth or dental implants, with one or more false teeth resting between the abutments to serve as a replacement.
Dental Bonding
Dental composite materials are available in many shades of “white” to blend naturally with your other teeth. They are used in cosmetic dental bonding procedures to make small changes in front teeth.

Root Canal Treatment
Root canal procedures are sometimes necessary when tooth decay or trauma causes infection of the nerve of the tooth. Root canal treatment is performed to remove the infected nerve tissue and treat the infection, followed by sealing the tooth and root canals to prevent re-infection. Dr. Bhat works closely with a root canal specialist, an endodontist, to coordinate root canal procedures. Following a root canal, Dr. Bhat places a permanent crown restoration on the root canal tooth to protect it from fracturing.

Dentures
If you are a denture-wearer, chances are you have experienced some or all of the challenges that dentures can present, such as loose and wobbly dentures, poor fit, sore spots or an unnatural appearance.

Dental Implants
Dental implants can bring beauty back to your smile and at the same time restore lost function, allowing you to eat and speak normally.

Orthodontics
Invisalign® orthodontics uses clear teeth aligners to gradually straighten teeth. “Clear” means no embarrassing metal brackets or wires, and “removable” means you can continue to enjoy the foods you love without worrisome hardware for food to get stuck in.

General Dentistry
Dr. Bhat achieved her DDS degree from the Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago. Upon graduation, she continued her training and completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the University of California. She began the next chapter of her life in 2000, getting married and moving to the Alpharetta-Roswell area.
