Golden B Diner

Listen here you brat, my family has been eating at this establishment since the early 90's. We've had nothing but good food and good service from owners and staff members who have come to know and are very fond of us. I am SOOO sorry that there food isn't the usual fancy dog slop that you're apparently accustomed to! Granted it's not a 5 start restaurant, but this place has been around for 30 years so SOMEONE must like the food that you detest so much. And I'll let you in on another thing: like I previously mention, my ENTIRE family has been eating here since the 90's and the majority of us are well under 50. So stick that in your rear and smoke it you smarmy woman. Golden Basket is a wonderful restaurant with wonderful people and you are OBVIOUSLY just a bad customer. Hey, if you don't like the food here in Royal Oak then why don't you go back to Birmingham or Bloomfield or where ever your snotty self came from. We don't need you here!

First off after getting seated our waitress spilled our waters all over the table and us. Maybe she was surprised to see a couple in there under 50, I don't know. So we move tables and she took our order. I had a dinner salad that was nothing but the bad parts of the lettuce (all the white parts and the inner yellow parts) it was gross, The coleslaw was warm and didn't look very appetizing. My hot turkey sandwich was loaded with gravy and the turkey was mush. The chicken noodle soup however was the only good thing there that I had. Their hamburgers were frozen and pre packaged - most likely from walmart, it was rubbery and tough. I ordered it with out onions and tomatoes. SHe brought it to the table with onions and tomatoes and she said she'll have the cook take it off of the hamburger! What if I had an allergy?! For 2 people to eat with 2 pops, a hamburger and fries with a free cole slaw, a hot turkey sandwich with potatoes and green beans with a free soup of the day and a dinner salad our bill came out to just under $26.00! It was way over priced for the quality of food that they serve. Our first clue to get up and leave should have been the water spilling all over us, but with deep regret we decided to stay and taste the food. I just hope i'm not sick tomorrow. Please if you have any sense DO NOT EAT at this resturant!
