I can not thank Dr. Hubbard and her staff enough for the care and compassion they have provided my fur babies, my family, and me. She has always gone above and beyond in the care she has provided for my fur babies. I trust her expertise and can honestly say that she is the best vet I've ever worked with. I wouldn't trust my babies with anyone else:)

We had an appointment to bring our malamute in for his check up and shots. In the early morning hours the day if our appointment, our baby boy got violently ill. He had a fever and was vomiting profusely. He was immediately diagnosed with Parvo. (One of the most deadly diseases for a dog!) With little to no chance of survival, Dr. Hubbard and Stephanie, no longer there, made all the difference in the world. With constant care and love, plenty of IV fluids and lots of patience, here we are 2 years later with a happy healthy ginormously big baby boy! They helped to keep our family whole!!! Words and/or reviews can't express our gratitude and love for this office, staff and helpers.

I took three kittens to Dr. Hubbard in the last few days, all of which were gravely ill. These kittens were born from a stray who took up at my home a few months ago, so I had no idea of the health of the mother cat or a history on her. Unfortunately, she obviously carried the corona virus and had passed it on to her kittens. The virus had mutated into FIP in the kittens, which is most always fatal. Because of their young age the virus took their lives. Dr. Hubbard did everything she could possibly do to diagnose and save their lives and ease their suffering, including staying late at the clinic to see one of the kittens, calling me on her day off, going into the clinic on her day off to check on a kitten and helping me deal with the pain of losing them. I have had experiences with many a veterinarian over the years and NEVER have I had a one of them go above and beyond like Dr. Hubbard.



Dr. Hubbard also sees my three dogs and has consistently been patient, understanding and kind. I never feel like I'm being "rushed out" as she takes all the time I need to understand every detail. She truly is a very caring individual and I'm grateful I found her for my pets.

Business is growing and not for the better. Excellent service with 1st cat in June. Good service with second in July, but late on follow-up with important blood results. Terrible service this September with current 14 wk kitten. No follow-up, had to contact them. Reported increasing concerns twice in 3 days, both times dismissed as typical of worms, wanted to provide med sight unseen. Refused and secured different Vet for 2nd opinion, ended up in emergency hospital. Kitten is not fine with worms, she has bacterial pneumonia, severe gastroenteritis and no worms. On 3 antibiotics, doing OK. Plan to speak with Vet about this, but currently I wouldn't recommend someone take a rat to this Vet let alone a beloved pet. Doc needs to reevaluate her priorities and grow her dedication and care to/for animals not her client list.

once you go to dr hubbard, you will never go to another vet. brilliant, kind, compassionate, would give 10 stars if i could. she is not just a doctor, she is a healer. her staff is excellent, full of love and kindness. easy access from lynchburg, rustburg and surrounding communities. try her, you'll love her.
