A complete engineering repair of damaged or corroded door structural steel sills and door framing members where required. The replacement of the complete hangar doorï¿½s weather seals and lower corroded exterior sheathing (20 door panel sections) as well as cleaning, spot priming and painting of all exposed newly installed and existing steel.
Tile Installation
In addition project included removal and replacement of Quarry Tile Flooring, Cleaning of existing ductwork, Installation of new Ansul System, and all associated Fire Protection, Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical works.

Construction

New Construction
New Construction to relocate the South Switch House from Building #832 to new Building #826. Work included excavation, cast-in-place concrete foundation, CMU block wall with brick veneer, concrete slab on grade and sidewalk, precast concrete planks, carpentry, gypsum wallboard, doors & hardware, painting, synthetic slate shingle roof, and removal and disposal of existing switchgear from old building. New electrical work included basic electric and new 5KV metal clad switchgear and breakers, underground conduit, cable, supports and lightning protection.
Demolition
Work includes furnishing all plant, labor, materials, supervision, and equipment; and performing all work for the Expansion of the Arms Room at Washington Hall. This work included Selective Demolition, New Security & Fire Alarm Systems, Specialty Door Hardware, Painting, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical and Fire Protection works.

Landscaping and Fencing

Fencing
- Removed existing turf surface including E-layer & install new infill turf system. Installed all field markings, numbers and lines inlaid for football, lacrosse & soccer. Logos at center of field and at end zones were inlaid. Entire field was glued down & sewn to include all seams & inlaid items.
Tree Removal
Scale and Remove all loose rocks on 100ï¿½ of rock slope failure near the bottom of Williams Road, some approximately 4 tons of weight, along the edge of the route. These large and small blocks occupied a relatively narrow strip of moderately sloping ground that separates the paved swale adjacent to the road and the base of the exposed rock cut. Collette Contracting scaled all loose rock by professional certified & trained rock scalers, removed all remaining loose rock blocks, built a barrier with large blocks along the road shoulder, and remaining rock was hauled away. Extreme caution was taken to protect the public, workers, road surface and road drainage. Certified Arborists and Pesticide Applicators were employed to remove trees and for root herbicide treatment. Collette Contracting has prepared and enforced special Traffic Control Plan, Erosion and Sediment Control Plan and Environmental Protection Plans during the performance of the contract. Project was completed on time, with zero incident or lost time.
Driveways
Asphalt Paving
Design and Build two permanent steel canopy structures placed over two existing, re-locatable building facilities. Canopy design to allow vertical and horizontal clearances for future removal of existing re-locatable modules, also to allow for future use of the canopies as an assembly area for cadets; allow for full cadet assembly occupancy in accordance with NY State design code for both occupancy intentions. PE signed & sealed drawings included concrete foundation and footing design as per pre-engineered building column reactions for seismic, live loads and wind uplift; testing and evaluation of soil. Construction work included storm water pollution prevention, temporary soil erosion & sediment control, excavation, concrete footings and piers, asphalt paving repairs, pre-engineered building with standing seam metal roofing, lightning protection and site restoration.
Excavation
Performed CCTV of existing pipe with pipe locater and light cleaning of the 8ï¿½ pressure main. Installed 8ï¿½ HDEP pipe by pipe bursting method (trenchless insertion of high-density polyethylene pipe), including all fittings, fusion welding, excavation, clearing and grubbing, backfill, compaction testing and site restoration. Installed high density polyethylene pipe into existing pipe by slip-lining method, including fusion welding and grouting at pipe ends. Performed all necessary manhole repairs as well as excavation, backfilling, clearing, grubbing, compaction and site restoration.
Landscape Lighting
Selective demolition and removals. Modifications to accommodate E85 and Hydrogen Fueling stations. Construction of a fire-rated partition to isolate eastern most service bay. Trenching for electrical conduit. Selective asphalt patchwork. Concrete pad installations for transformer, HVAC, delivery hardstand, E85 tank, hydrogen equipment. Selective painting. Installation of light posts and fencing. Selective structural work related to general construction and mechanical work. Support of work related to general construction and mechanical work. Removal of hanging fuel oil heater, lighting, lube dispenser. Installation of new electric duct heater. New duct heaterï¿½s associated ductwork, etc. Testing and balancing of the entire ventilation system. Installation of E-85 Tank. Installation of non-sparking lighting fixtures. Run lines for equipment to be supplier by others and leave ends ï¿½pig tailedï¿½. Install 45KVA, 208-480v, 3 phase, 4w pad mounted transformer. Installation transformer (1.3kv primary 480 secondary). Installation electric duct heater and new thermostat for duct heater. Installation of outdoor lighting. Installation of E-85 peripherals. Relocate existing manual pull station and alarm bell.
Retaining Walls
Rehabilitation of a damaged storm-water outfall and incidental related work. Removed failed stone gabions, failed concrete gutter, failed 24" corrugated pipe and fallen tree. Excavate, stabilize and shore as necessary to prepare for installation of new catch basin, gabion retaining wall and outfall. Installed new precast concrete catch basin, with cast-iron curb frame and grate, to existing storm line. Installed new HDPE pipe from new catch basin and outfall to stream; installed riprap as necessary. Installed stone gabions to create retaining wall; tie new gabions into existing. Backfill impacted area and seed. Restored pavement, curbing and damaged areas.
Irrigation Systems
Removed and replaced existing kitchen hood exhaust system, ceiling lights and diffusers, in the servery, adjust the existing kitchen sprinkler system as required to facilitate the new ceiling system and sprinkler coverage requirements. Fire alarm system connections associated with new kitchen exhaust and new fire suppression systems. Upgraded existing fire protection system serving limited areas, and installed new Fire Sprinkler System to other areas of the building.

Exterior

Window Installation/Replacement
Historical Interior Restoration to the Rutherford Train Station: Performed lead paint abatement. Installed new floor joists and flooring. Performed historical woodwork restoration to wood trim around doors & windows, on ceiling and to the existing wood benches. Historical stained glass restoration to windows, installed new plaster on walls. Completely re-painted interior including decorative stencil work along ceiling. Installed new terrazzo tile flooring in main waiting area and performed various electrical upgrades to this historical building listed in the National Register of Historical Places.
Gutters
Complete removal and replacement of roofing system. New three ply roof system installed, including new lead coated copper flashings, new copper gutters, roof drains and scuppers, pitch pockets, curbs, hatches, expansion joints, walk pads, and misc. accessories.
Residential Roof Repair
Work includes furnishing all plant, labor, materials, supervision, and equipment; and performing all work for the Renovation of Scott Barracks. Installation of new Tremco Roofing System including weatherproofing assembly and its components, which includes the following: membrane, insulation, flashings and termination details.
Residential Roof Replacement/Installation
Trades Included: Historical Masonry Restoration, new Masonry, Stucco, Waterproofing, Copper, Built-up and Slate Roof Replacement, Lead Abatement, Painting, Plumbing and Electrical Investigation & Upgrades.

Provide and install entire Roof Replacement and Masonry Repair Works associated with construction of above referenced contract, including but not limited to removal and replacement of Roof System including 15 year NDL Performance Warranty; roof deck repairs and replacement; base flashings, lead collars and pitch pockets for all roof penetrations, new rings & strainers for existing roof drains, removal & reinstallation of coping stones for new thru-wall flashing installation, removal of abandoned roof top AC unit and associated ductwork and repair of service opening in concrete structural roof, remove & reinstall all roof fans to install new flashing; Masonry Restoration, Waterproofing and Renovations, including stone and brick parapet repairs, re-pointing of brick parapet wall, raking & cleaning of masonry joints, replacing caulking with tuck-point material, waterproofing of parapet and adjoining walls, as well as all related, specified and required work
Electrical Work
The scope of work included removal of two existing air handling units. Provided and installed two new air handling units, new supply and return air ductwork, cleaning of all existing ductwork and new controls for new air handling units. Electrical work included new conduits and power for new AHUï¿½s.
