At Go-Forth Services we follow the highest standards in residential pest control management. We are equipped with the knowledge and experience to mitigate even the toughest pest problems, as well as prevent any future infestations. When your house becomes a hideaway for termites, roaches, fleas or other pests, it can impact your sense of well-being, risk the health of you and your family, and even cause structural damage to your home.
Commercial Pest Control
Pyrethrum is produced by drying the chrysanthemum leaves and then crushing them into a powder form. It rapidly disintegrates into the environment, making it an ideal and safe solution for residential and commercial pest control solutions. This botanical insecticide ranks low in acute toxicity for humans and pets, making it a wonderful alternative to synthetic pesticides.
At Go-Forth Services, customer safety and satisfaction are our top priorities – which is why we offer our clients environmentally-friendly pest prevention options. Organic pesticides are designed to protect your home from harmful and infectious pests such as: red ants
Spiders
. Instead, spiders weave dust-collecting webs in all areas of the home, lay eggs containing up to 400 offspring, and hide in dark places where they can bite or startle people. Food and shelter are their main goals, as most living things.
Termites
Wood Destroying Insect Reports (WDIRs) are generated after a thorough, visual inspection has been performed on all accessible areas of a building and the sounding of accessible structural members in areas particularly susceptible to attack by wood-destroying insects. These reports can provide confirmation of either the visible presence or absence of wood-destroying insects (such as termites) within the home structure. Go-Forth is a licensed WDIR inspector.
Bed Bugs
What do you know about bed bugs? Probably, like most people, not very much. You may have heard about them frequently on the nightly news, with headlines about a centuries-old pest making its comeback into the beds of Americans. If you have a case of bed bugs, then someone is certainly enjoying your night's sleep - but it probably isn't you!
Fleas
Fleas  may be one of the most annoying and uncomfortable to live with of all common house pests. These parasites are not only a nuisance to humans and their pets, but may also contribute to skin irritation and problems like flea allergy dermatitis (FAD), and even lead to more severe health problems. Since they can feed off of blood from multiple hosts, they also harbor the potential to transmit disease.
Cockroaches
Did you know that cockroaches are the most successful species on Earth? Their amazing ability to adapt has made them the oldest and most common species on the planet. While this may be great news for the Blattulidae (Cockroach) family, it may not be so great for yours! Go-Forth Services provides home and business owners peace of mind by using state-of-the-art pest control methods for eradicating these pesky and potentially health-threatening pests.
Bees
Carpenter Bees are very common in western North Carolina. These large, hairy, and sometimes slow moving bees can be found along the eaves of a home or other wooden structure, and the undersides of decks or porch rails. Their name comes from the fact that they bore holes and tunnel into wood to make their nests - they do not eat wood, however. Â If you suspect you have a carpenter bee problem, let Go-Forth help you resolve it.
Ticks
Mosquitoes
At the beginning of spring, mosquitoes make their annual debut; invading homes and businesses throughout western North Carolina. In NC alone there are 60 species of mosquitoes that are active during much of the year. The most prevelant (which property owners are constantly swatting from their heads, shoulders, knees, and toes) is the infamous Asian Tiger mosquito. Go-Forth provides  our customers  with  professional mosquito control in  WNC.
The Cimicidae family is made up of a number of unappealing parasites, such as the bat bug, chimney swift bug, and the swallow bug. The bed bug, however, is the most common invader of human homes and beds. These blood-suckers are not very picky about the source of their food (many can be found on birds, bats, and mice), but they all prefer human hosts if given the option.
In small numbers, carpenter bees do not cause serious structural damage. As their numbers increase and they continue to drill tunnels over a number of years, however, more serious damage can occur. Holes on exposed wood surfaces can lead to further damage from fungi and even attacks by other insects like carpenter ants. Carpenter bee eggs and larvae are also a prime target for woodpeckers, which can cause further damage as they search the tunnels for food.
Rodents are characterized by their continuously growing incisor teeth that must be maintained by gnawing. To maintain teeth size and sharpness, rodents may damage attics, house siding, buildings, electrical wires, and even concrete.
Mice
, are a common pest in western North Carolina. Their size ranges from 6 to 8 inches in length, including their bi-colored long tail. Adult deer mice are generally tan or brown in color with white fur underneath, and weigh less than an ounce. The fur-less ears and black eyes are notably large.
Rats
Black and brown rats are the most commonly reported rat pests in western NC. Half an inch is all the space they need to infest residential or commercial properties. Rats are often found in the basement. They like to burrow in the ground around structures that provide a roof for their nests.
Squirrels
Squirrels like to use buildings, apartments, and homes for nesting areas. They get inside walls and leave bio-hazard waste behind for you and your pets. This type of rodent infestation is extremely dangerous due to the wire gnawing and nesting habits, which can easily produce a fire. In addition, squirrels can damage and shred insulation.
