While, they may seem friendly and helpful to customers, behind the counter and in the back room the pharmacists and pharmacy techs are a group filled with malice, jealousy, and petty conflicts. Even though customer service is all that matters, and outwardly they show a unified presence, yet I can bear firsthand witness of the gossip and rumors that were spread not only of their fellow employees, but also of the every day regular customers. Indeed, sometimes listening to the things that were said were so uncomfortable for me and several others, that none of us could respond. In truth, verbal abuse and backstabbing are so common, I wonder how anyone can stay sane.
