Davis Floor Company fit our job into their schedule on short notice and made a very tight schedule work so that we could have a finished floor for Christmas. We used prefinished engineered flooring by Carlisle which we realized at the time of install was not end matched. Although the plank edges were hand scraped, the ends were not so an exact match of one plank end to the next was essential as the floor was already finished and would not be sanded. This made the install was more labor intensive than expected and the installers routered the ends of each plank so that it could be matched to the next plank at these joints. Yet Davis Floor Company met the schedule and held the cost to the original bid. The floor looks beautiful. We have worked with a lot different tradespeople and we are especially happy with the process and results of working with Davis Floor Company.

I got several estimates and they seemed to be more or less the same in price. Out of everyone that I talked to, I had the most confidence that he would be able to match the existing stain. We have an older, expensive house and I was really worried that you would notice the difference between the new and old floors. You cannot even see any type of transition between the floors.I have had a lot of things go wrong with my remodeling, but I must say that they did a great job and we were really pleased with the work.
