Last week our church called Adhair to help us with a leak in our radiant floor heating system. Steve Malone showed up & was very professional. He explained because of all the pipes in the floor to find the pipe leaking that he couldn't do it, but he said that he would get in the general area. He located the area & began listing & marked a spot he called "a best effort", but when we went to make the repairs, the leak area was off by 6 feet. We thought he would do better than that.
We're not sure how to respond, but this is a given; leak detection is not an exact science our contract even states it is "a best effort" with no guarantees.Locating a leak in a radiant heat system means only that you get within an area where the pipes are supposed to be & listen..they didn't know where the pipes were so we located & began searching. A sound was found that indicated a possible leak area. It was marked indicating an "area"...that's it.The leak was linear & not the size of a dinner plate...it was within 3FT of the locate,"best effort" enough said.

Recently on a Saturday we called Adhair kinda in an emergency to find a leak in our main water service. The leak was so bad you could hear the water running. Our problem was we didn't know if the leak was in the office area or the shop. After a few minutes using different equip they found it. The Saturday response is very appreciated.

I called Adhair about what I thought was a leak in my pool, I didn't want to close it if there was a leak. I'm not sure what all the tools they brought with them, but checked the structure, dove the pool & found no issues & then pressure tested all the lines, no leak, worth the money

Our pool was leaking water @ a substantial rate; when we uncovered our pool this spring, our water level had fell beneath the two main drains. We called Adhair & after several attempts to find the leak, they dove the pool & using dye they found out the pool was loosing water @ the wall by the main drain pipes. They could not fix these issues, it was structural problem. They did provide pictures of the issues

We a small plumbing company that often is a subcontractor. Recently we were @ Chamanade HS trying to find a leak in a fire suppression line. We had pot-holed several places thinking we could find the leak, but no luck. We called Adhair, they traced the line from where the pipe was exposed back to the building. After several attempts @ 'listening", no leaks could be detected. They took water samples from the open ditches & found no chlorine, it was ground water. They did find the leak @ a nearby hydrant that wasn't apart of the other line. They didn't stop trying.

Our plumbing firm contacted Adhair re: trying to determine if there was a leak on the main water line before the meters. They traced the line up to a large planter but could not find any noise that would indicate a leak. We asked them to return on a Sat. because of less noise & they did. again there was no leak. Very knowledgeable & skillful

I needed someone to pinpoint a serious, but hidden, leak in my water supply line. I was hoping it might be in the yard and not under the basement floor. I called Adhair and Steve Malone came bright and early the next morning. Steve quickly and efficiently tracked down the location of the leak. Sometimes service guys can ge grumpy, but Steve was easy to talk to and explained every step he took so that I understood exactly what to expect. He eventually pointed to a spot on my concrete floor and said that's where the leak is. Ah, well, you win some, you lose some. Anyway, I enjoyed working with Steve and heartily recommend him. You'll find him efficient and you can tell he really enjoys what he does. He did what I needed quickly, efficiently, and cheaper than the other leak detection services I contacted. Check him out!
