The team at Carlson Mortgage here in St. Louis is really helpful and knowledgeable. We used their services for both purchase and refinance mortgages over the years. The mortgage broker that we dealt with was Alex. He helped us when we bought our home and then proactively reached out when interest rates fell enough for us to realize savings by refinancing. He was very easy to work with: thorough, timely and professional.

After being in the real estate business for over 13 years, I have never been apart of a smoother transactions then what we experience with Alex and his team.

The most recent file he worked on had a little hair around the edges, my client had recently been turned down by a different mortgage broker. However once Alex got her file everything fell into place, great quick communication from his end, no surprises from the underwriter and hit the closing time frame with no problem.

I've only ever spoken to Alex, and he definitely knows what he's doing. I've been looking into purchasing a second home for myself. (I currently own a duplex and rent out half, looking to turn it into an investment property.)

Alex G. and his team have been very accessible and supportive, and Alex has been able to lock in rates that were better than the competitors. Much of our communication was conducted through email, including sending documentation or e-signing forms. Because of the number of documents we signed via e-signatures, the closings have been noticeably quicker than in my past experiences with other companies.

I couldn't have asked for a better team or experience, and I plan to use Carlson Mortgage for all future purchases.

They answered every question I had, no matter how silly it was. They made me feel comfortable with their patience and friendliness. We applied and had a great interest rate, then during the process, Alex and Greg found a program I qualified for and my interest rate lowered even more.
