Ernesto's Wine Bar

We heard about this wine bar in the Sauce magazine when it first opened. We finally found it. It is tucked away in a neighborhood and the bar is inviting and well decorated. The place was packed and fun and there was alot of excitement and good vibes. We had a great time. The somelier was intelligent and friendly and quite helpful. We drank wines that neither my husband or I had tried before and we thought we would be regulars even though we live in Clayton. When we came back 3 months later--what a dissappointment!!!! I don't know if we came on a really OFF day or what but the feeling was not the same and the somelier that we had looked forward to seeing was no longer there. This time the wine list was-well- plebian. I saw wines there that we had bought at the grocery store. It is still a handsome place but we will be reluctant to go there again because it seems like it has died after a short bright life.
