The museum is a gem that fits both classical & contemporary art together in one venue seamlessly. SLAM works tirelessly to bring in different exhibitions & shows. I try to make it at least once every 3 months or so.

Panorama restaurant has excellent food and a great ambiance! One of our favorite places for a lovely lunch!

A first-class museum! Coming from Chicago, I expecting it to be far inferior to the Art Institute, but boy was I wrong... St. Louis Art Museum really holds its own. The collection is amazing, and the traveling exhibits are top-notch. And of course, the building and grounds are absolutely magnificent. Beautiful in the summer, and beautiful in the winter (when all the kids snowsled down the hill to the lagoon). Great gift shop in the basement, with decent food at the cafe.

What a great asset to the city and some of the best exhibits in the world make stops here (although there is usually an admission fee for those). Wonderful place to expose children and teens to art, scuplture, etc.
