General Info: Founded in 1997, University City Adult Education and Literacy Program, earlier known as English Language School, offers a variety of educational programs for adults of age 16 and above. It provides classes in reading, writing, speaking, vocabulary and comprehension. The school offers general educational development and English as a Second Language programs. It additionally provides residential facilities, such as group homes and senior citizen communities. The school is funded by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education of the State of Missouri. University City Adult Education and Literacy Program is a part of the School District of University City, which offers educational programs to students in kindergarten through grade 12 through its schools.
