Terrible experience and super misleading, lying salesman! I took my car in that was stuck in 2nd gear and having done some basic research told them a trans pressure sensor was probably the problem.

They got back to me and insisted it needed a complete rebuild (min $1500) despite me reiterating that the sensor was a well documented problem (front page and all over google). "Our mechanic is a 15 year Chrysler mechanic" he told me. "He says it is definitely not a sensor". He then went on to spew a complete lie adding "And if it is a sensor that would mean your whole ECU was shot and that appears to be just fine".

Long story short since I am not a completely uninformed consumer I saw right through the polite and decent sounding lie and told them I would pick my car up to replace the sensor myself!

That weekend I did the repair for ~ 100 in parts and am back on the road. DO NOT go here! They are either liars or just terrible mechanics that can't recognize a very common problem! Either way you'll get screwed! I hope I help someone save the 1500 + they will try to steal from you.

You must, must, MUST go to this shop! The office guys were so helpful at explaining the issues and offering suggestions for what needed to be done, without being high pressure...made me feel better as a lady who knows very little about my car! The mechanics jumped on the work right away, as they knew I was going out of town that weekend with my car...and they made me a priority :) The owner Kris even drove me to work and picked me up, so I didn't have to pay for a cab! And as a pleasant surprise when I got off work, I found out my transmission repair was not as serious as they thought at first, and they fixed what was wrong for a third of what they quoted me! I wouldn't have known the difference if they had told me or not, but they didn't take advantage of my ignorance! I love these guys....so honest, caring, and professional! This is true service! I will never go to another shop as long as I am living or working anywhere in Pinellas or Hillsborough County!! They are going to be around forever!
