Others are more interested in a spa setting. Luckily, northern and southwestern Utah have no shortage of luxury spas. You can find work performing many different types of spa treatments, including applying semipermanent makeup such as lash tint as well as providing facials, hair removal services and so much more.
Laser Hair Removal
Our esthetician school also offers an instructor internship. This is a 300-hour course that prepares you to teach others skin care curriculum. You’ll teach eyelash extensions classes, laser hair removal techniques, how to give facials and more. This is a great way to expand your resume, and you can still work as a master esthetician at the same time.
Waxing

Facial Treatment
Those who want to be estheticians in Utah must start by entering an accredited program such as one of the esthetician programs at Skin Science Institute. Our basic esthetician program is 600 hours of classwork and practical training, including lash extensions classes, skin care courses and lessons on nail care, facials and more.
Chemical Peel
Many estheticians seek to further their education by becoming master estheticians. This designation allows you to perform more difficult and complex procedures, such as chemical peels. Our esthetician school offers this course of study, which includes 600 additional hours of classroom and hands-on work. You may enroll in our master esthetician program if you are already a licensed esthetician; or, if you are starting from square one, you can enroll in our 1,200-hour program in which you will first learn basic esthetician skills and then move on to master esthetician coursework. You then may take the master esthetician exam and apply for a master esthetician license.

Beauty Services

Makeup
Our esthetician school operates student spas in both our Orem and Sandy locations. Here, you can practice the skills you learned in skin care, hair removal, makeup application and lash extensions classes. Students work under the supervision of licensed master esthetician instructors, offering spa treatments to clients in South Jordan and all over northern Utah at a discount. Eyelash Extension
In Utah, you must complete 600 hours of instruction at an accredited institution to become an esthetician. This includes hands-on learning and coursework such as skin care, nail care and eyelash extension classes. You’ll learn all the skills you need to work in a medical setting or at a top area spa. Good estheticians are always in demand. Once you complete the course, you must pass a state exam to get your esthetician license. Then you can work anywhere in the state of Utah as an esthetician.
Permanent Makeup
