Goro's Sushi

Goro Sushi is one of the best with very reasonable pricing the only one that's I believe better than girls is Nikki's Tokyo inn on Hildebrand, but their prices are a lot higher.
I read someone on this review saying that they always go to Zushi Sushi, that restaurant is horrible their food is pre-made and their hot food is microwaved there is nothing tasty about their food and their Sushi is mediocre at best if they think that's a good restaurant and they didn't like girls there's definitely a problem with their taste buds.
I go to Nikki's Tokyo Inn or to Goro's whenever I want sushi. I've been going to Nikki's for at least 40 years and two Goro's for at least 10. I have never had a problem with the wait staff not coming to my table and refilling my tea or asking me if there's anything else I want. Now if they're packed and you're expecting constant attention you're not going to get it. They are usually pretty packed on Fridays and Saturdays.
They also have happy hour on their sushi.
There's nothing outstanding about their decor but it's a comfortable atmosphere and their food is always super delicious.

If you are a begginer at eating Sushi try the rolls. My favorite is the Izzy Roll then gradute to the Rodney or Eva roll.

I read the great reviews and I was excited about having a group lunch here with my coworkers.

I called the restaurant several times trying to ask questions about the menu and to reserve tables but I nobody would answer the phone.

I had to call a store nearby and ask them if Goro’s was still open. They said they thought they were closed. So, we had to go to Zushi Sushi instead.

I tried calling a few times later and FINALY got someone to answer. I asked the person what time they opened and she confirmed the time on the webpage. (11a) I tried to inform her that I had trouble getting through when I called previously. Her only response was, “We open at 11am.”

I won’t make lunch plans there again but I’m still curious if it is as good as the reviews. I will only go back if I happen to be near it during lunch. (Not likely.)

I love goro! it's at the top of my list! the staff is great and helpful, the food is wonderful, they have a wide variety and the over all atmosphere is comfortable and laid back. By far it's one of the best sushi places in town!! I recommend it to all of friends and family!
