Once Upon A Child

If I give zero stars, I would. I have been buying from this location on Bandera since it opened. The revolving door staff was rude from the first day I went so I decided not to sell to them, rather just purchase very occasionally, maybe once every couple months 15 bucks. I have never tried to cross them because it's like the employees are chosen from a mean girl high school or something so i have actually kept a few items I should have returned or exchanged. So I finally decided to do an even exchange for a little pair of infant crocs I bought 2 days ago, but didn't end up fitting my son. I brought the pair and the reciept to the counter and they said go pouch out another pair. So I go get a larger size shoe for the same price and take it to the counter. She then informs me that for my even exchange she needs to deduct 20% from the exchange because the sticker with the price tag that Barley stuck to the rubber croc in the first place had come off likely before we made it out the door 2 days prior. I was lucky just to find it's mate in that crazy pile shoe hell. They wanted my name, address, phone number, all to do an even exchange. My goodness. Never again. I opted for a refund as I had decided not to continue to do business with them. Minus 20% of course. I then returned the $60 bed I'd just bought that same day. Good riddance. Consistently rude employees and petty business practice. I will drive across town before going to this location in my neighborhood from now on.

0 stars for the Location on San Pedro! I never felt this good about NOT having made any money! This is robbery and I am terribly sorry for people depending on that little money they offer for your sellable items! They seriously offered me $50 for my unused, nearly new and even originally wrapped items! You'll feel a lot better about giving your usable things to your kid's school, church or a neighbor who dearly appreciates it! Save the time sorting, packing, loading, driving, gas and disappointment!

I will agree the staff appear to be at a funeral, but if you can look past that, stick to sale priced items (shop for the opposite season we are currently in) you can do well. Happy value shopping����

This place is way overpriced considering its a second hand down store! There were pants from the brand Grananimals (walmart) that were almost 4 bucks when they are origanilly only 3.88 at walmart to begin with. I found a couple of shoes that I could of gotten a cheaper deal at Ross!&& the staff seems unhappy. They also have more of a girl variety than boy selection.. I personally will not visit this location again. I would rather spend a few dollars more at Ross for BRAND NEW items instead of OVERPRICED items at a thrift shop. Ppff even thrift stores are cheaper and I'll stick with them instead of coming here.
