I used this company to transcribe audio interviews for my dissertation. Service was convenient, prompt, courteous, and professional. The turnaround time was only about a week, and the quality of the work was excellent! I reviewed all the transcribed documents myself, and only a few words had to be changed, mainly for professional jargon or for issues with the recording (inaudible or overtalking). Marcy provided me with suggestions for a good quality recording, which was very helpful for a newbie like myself. Quoted price was reasonable. Overall a very good experience and I would recommend them highly.

Transcription software abounds, but none of it does what it is supposed to do without an inordinate amount of work on the part of the user. When I found A Better Type, I found the skill and excellence that I needed. Not only was the transcriptions done flawlessly, but the process could not have been easier. I also requested a confidentialy document (required by my iRB) which was signed without hesitation. the costs were most reasonable....and, again, within two-three days everything was returned to me totally completed.
